These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the MYGolf website, the MYGolf Development Academy, MYGolf Playbooks, and the MYGolf community hosted on Circle (collectively, the "Services"), operated by Mike Yates ("MYGolf," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
MYGolf provides golf instruction and mental-game coaching content, including but not limited to:
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to purchase the Services. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms on your behalf and supervise your use of the Services.
All payments are processed by Stripe, a third-party payment processor. MYGolf does not store your full payment card details. By purchasing the Academy or any Playbook, you authorize Stripe to charge your chosen payment method for the applicable amount.
You may cancel your Academy subscription at any time. Cancellation stops future billing but does not entitle you to a refund of the current billing period except as described in our Refund Policy. Access to the Academy continues through the end of the billing period you already paid for.
Refund eligibility for the Academy and Playbooks is described in full in our Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
All content provided through the Services — including videos, curriculum, playbooks, drills, written materials, and the MYGolf name and logo — is the property of Mike Yates / MYGolf and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Purchasing access grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the content for your own individual instruction. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, resell, publicly share, or create derivative works from any MYGolf content without prior written permission.
The MYGolf community is hosted on Circle and is subject to Circle's own terms of service in addition to these Terms. We expect members to communicate respectfully. We reserve the right to remove content or restrict access for any member who violates community guidelines, harasses other members, or misuses the community for purposes unrelated to golf instruction.
Golf instruction, like any athletic training, carries an inherent risk of physical injury. By participating in the Services, you voluntarily assume that risk. MYGolf provides instructional content and coaching in good faith based on real coaching and competitive experience, but we do not guarantee any specific outcome, handicap improvement, or score. Testimonials shared on our site and marketing reflect individual member experiences and are not a promise of similar results for every member.
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MYGolf and Mike Yates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of or related to your use of the Services, whether based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles, and any disputes arising under these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Utah.
